Robb Hanrahan: CBS 21 News Anchor Dies at 60 [Cause Revealed]
At the age of 60, Robb Hanrahan, a well-known former anchor at CBS 21 News, passed suddenly.

The TV celebrity passed away over the weekend, according to a statement posted on the news organization’s official website.
His family and the network have not yet disclosed the cause of his passing.
Hanrahan has worked in the profession for 38 years, during which time he has become well-known. After having a “major heart attack,” he stopped performing his duties and retired last year so that he could devote more time to his family and health.
For 10 years, the broadcaster produced weeknight evening and late news for CBS 21. He covered important historical occurrences including the presidential elections, catastrophes and natural tragedies, and many more.
Over the course of his long career, he won significant awards in journalism and television, including the National Edward R. Murrow Award and several Emmy Award considerations.
He has previously worked for WSVS-TV in Miami, FL, WFOR-TV in Miami, FL, and WABC-TV in New York.
From the late 1980s through 1992, Hanrahan also worked as an anchor and reporter for WHTM-TV.
The journalist had a severe heart attack in 2020 and talked about it in a prior interview with the publication.
Hanrahan claimed to have experienced the most difficult week of his life at the time of his hospital discharge, yet he was still able to return home and heal.
“The morning of last Wednesday, I experienced a severe heart attack. By some miracle I had already been at the hospital when my heart stopped the first time, but when I “coded blue” the second time, things didn’t look good “He remembered that moment.
He spoke openly about his experience in a different interview last year, revealing that he had a vivid dream before experiencing a medical ailment.
Later, he called Stacey, his wife, requesting that she dial 911 right away because he had felt something in his chest.
Hanrahan was taken to the hospital’s emergency room, where he received care and was examined.
When his heart stopped, medical professionals applied compressions until they shocked him.
It was at this time, he claimed, “when the whatever was happening and shutting down went through this place of my body and the pain ceased, and all of a sudden everything was tranquil.”
