The 34-year-old singer drowned due to the effects of Xanax and difluoroethane, an aerosol propellant used in spray cans, according to a statement released on Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. His demise was determined to be accidental.

The singer’s housekeeper discovered him submerged in the tub on the morning of November 5 at his Lancaster home, according to the coroner, who then dialled 911 and got instructions on how to administer CPR.

At 11:14 a.m., when the paramedics got on the scene, Carter was pronounced dead.

The consequences of inhaling compressed gas and ingesting alprazolam caused Mr. Carter to become incapacitated while in the bathtub, according to the autopsy report, investigative reports, and facts that are now known.

“This caused him to fall under the water, become unable to breathe, and finally resulted in his death.

Carter’s autopsy was performed the following day, but due to the delay in test findings, the cause of death was not formally certified until April 14.

Aaron Carter was a celebrity in his youth thanks in part to the success of his older brother, Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, but as he grew older, he battled in both his professional and personal lives.

He was at least twice arrested for drug and DUI-related offences, and he frequently used treatment.

He said that he was taking medication to manage his schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and anxiety in 2019. He also claimed to have received these diagnoses in 2019.

According to the autopsy report, authorities visited Carter’s home several times in the days before his death because they were worried he was abusing drugs.

His fiance called the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to ask for a welfare check about a week earlier because “she felt he was under the influence while driving his RV.”

He was contacted by deputies, but the report stated that he was not detained for suspicion of drunk driving.

On the morning of the day before he passed away, deputies once more went to Carter’s home to check on his wellbeing after getting a tip that he had been huffing on Instagram Live.

Carter was inside his house when deputies arrived and “yelled at them to get out from the stairs,” so the men and women went away.

Carter was not suicidal, according to his mother and fiancé, who both spoke to the coroner’s office investigators.

The musician was due to check in with his drug counsellor the evening before he passed away, but he missed the phone meeting “without any reason,” the article claims.

According to the complaint, one of them reportedly admitted to investigators that Carter had intended to enrol in a Florida rehabilitation programme but was unable to do so until Dec. 11 due to a court date. She claimed that he had relapsed before passing away.

After his brother passed away, Nick Carter shared a picture on Instagram.

In the caption, he said, “Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the reality is that addiction and mental illness is the real enemy here. To get trending news and rumours about celebrity follow chopnews.com
