Eklund had been riding a motorcycle in the 28000 block of Southeast 360 Street, near Van Meter. He was hit by a car and suffered serious injuries.

Jared Eklund was killed while riding a superbike on the Dallas County roadway on Sunday, June 12th, 2022.
His cause of death was a fatal bike-car collision, in which he was severely injured.
The accident took place in the 28000 block of Southeast 360 Street in Van Meter.
A young Waukee man crossed the center line and hit a man in an SUV. Jared J.
Eklund, a high school football player, was riding an erratically-marked motorcycle when the accident occurred, and Judah K. Noble, a driver of an SUV, collided with him. Jared J. Eklund was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver, Judah K. Noble, was transported to the Iowa Medical Examiner’s offices in Ankeny.

A fatal motorcycle accident is the official cause of death for Jared Eklund.
He was killed on June 12th, 2022, while riding a Harley Davidson superbike in Dallas County, Texas.
The fatal bike-car collision resulted in serious injuries to both drivers and passengers.
According to the Dallas County Coroner’s Office, the bike plowed into a car in the 28000 block of Southeast 360 Street in Van Meter.
The deceased was 39 years old, which makes his death all the more heartbreaking.
Although the cause of death of Jared Eklund is still under investigation, it does not appear to be suicide.
A 2006 Toyota 4Runner crossed the center line of the road and hit the motorcycle head-on.
