Bollywood News: Suhana Khan shares a post on misogyny; says, ‘double standards are scary’

Currently, the NCB is investigating the drug distribution and consumption link that has been found after Rhea Chakraborty’s chats leaked in which she was seen discussing drugs. A lot of celebrity names have come up in the process like those of Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh to name a few. Amidst the drug nexus that is being probed, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan had shared a post on misogyny. The allegations and behaviour of the media towards Rhea Chakraborty’s during her interrogation had made actresses speak up against the hatred towards women. Suhana’s post in such times wherein names of prominent leading ladies of Bollywood have cropped up with no mention of men from the industry, looks like a cryptic post on the same. Suhana Khan shared a tweet of a user on her social media handle. It reads thus: “Misogyny is not only conscious hate towards women, it’s also subconscious conditioned hateful behavior towards women. Meanwhile, talking about the drugs case, Rakul Preet Singh was interrogated by the NCB officials on Friday. Reportedly, she said that she stored drugs for Rhea Chakraborty at her place. She denied consuming drugs or in the commercialization of the same. Reportedly, she has named Kshitij Ravi Prasad who has been named by Karamjeet, one of the arrested drug peddlers.

Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor will be interrogated tomorrow by the team of NCB. Deepika and Sara had been in Goa. While the former was in the place for professional capacity, the latter was on a vacation with her family. Sara and Deepika both flew to Mumbai on Thursday night.
