The Justice Department subpoenas Eric Herschmann for documents and testimony

litico reports that the Justice Department has subpoenaed Eric Herschmann to provide testimony and documents in an investigation into the January 6 attack on Capitol Hill.

Federal investigators are currently investigating the legal affairs of several Trump associates.

Hirschmann was one of Trump’s top advisors. He advised them there was no evidence that the race was rigg after the 2020 election.

Trump also subpoenaed Eric Herschmann. Hirschmann is a White House lawyer who served as a member of Trump’s impeachment defense group.

According to sources familiar with the matter

Herschmann is the fifth White House official to be subpoena to testify in a federal probe into activities related to the attack on Capitol on January 6, 2016.

Hirschmann testified before the House Select Committee that investigated the riot. His comments were sometimes hilarious but blunt.

He also spoke of a meeting in which many Justice Department aides threatened their resignation if they supported an idea by a colleague trying to make spurious claims about widespread voter fraud.

He is now representing Brett Favre at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

A new scandal in Mississippi has brought him to the forefront of welfare fraud.

The former Green Bay Packers player was connect to a nonprofit organization that diverted federal funds meant low-income families.

According to the state auditor, the nonprofit was part of a scheme to divert funds from a welfare program. Favre paid for speaking engagements that he did not attend.

Hirschmann was one of Trump’s most trusted aides. He stated that Favre hired him after an “independent due diligence” and that he is sure that Favre has not violated any laws.

Herschmann’s statement does not match with the text messages investigators have found that show Favre was pushing for welfare funding despite being inform that there were legal concerns. This issue led to calls for Favre’s removal from the Hall of Fame.

He was a member of the House Select Committee on January 6.

Hirschmann, a White House lawyer, left Kasowitz Benson Torres’ $3.3 million partnership to join Trump’s team.

He was a pivotal figure in the battle over the election results and clashed with Trump’s allies who wanted them to be overturn.

At the Committee hearings investigating the attack at Capitol on January 6, 2001, Hirschmann has been a shining star.

Herschmann’s contemporary artwork has been the subject of much controversy.

Herschmann also said that he disapproved of a plan from Jeffrey Clark, an ex-official with the Justice Department, to reverse the 2020 election.

Herschmann also testified that he had a heated conversation with John Eastman (a Trump-allied lawyer).

Eastman suggested that a vice president could reverse an election. Herschmann was incredulous.

On January 6, he was a member of the Senate Select Committee.

Hirschmann left Kasowitz Benson Torres, a $ 3.3 million partnership, to become a Trump White House Member last year. A federal grand jury investigated the attack on Capitol Hill.

He provide videotap testimony before the House Jan.6 committee, which was forme to investigate the January 6 attacks.

He is also link to Brett Favre of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and is under investigation in Mississippi for welfare fraud.

On January 6, the House Select Committee held eight public hearings that focused on what occurred in the hours before and after the attack on the Capitol.

Hershmann was the president’s senior advisor and attended many of the most important meetings.
