Raashi Khanna begins shooting for the first schedule of the Naga Chaitanya starrer in Milan — deets inside
Raashii Khanna is all set to take the cinema scene head-on as she begins shooting for Dil Raju’s upcoming production, Thank You, co-starring with Naga Chaitanya Akkineni in Milan, Italy. The versatile actor whose career is a hotbed of the most highly anticipated projects is juggling a mixed bag of genres. She is now prepared to add yet another big-ticket movie to it with the said production. She will be stationed in the scenic city of Turin for twenty days for its shooting.
Thank You is special for Raashii Khanna as it marks her second collaboration with Naga Chaitanya Akkineni and director Vikram Kumar. She remarks that it makes her very happy to be part of a film produced by Dil Raju, who has been a forerunner in the space of backing high-on concept and content-driven cinema.
Raashii says, “It is amazing to be collaborating with the best in the industry. Vikram Kumar is a gifted director and working with Chaitanya keeps me on my toes. The cinematographer of the film P C Sriram sir is fantastic at what he does and I always wanted to work with him. Here in Turin and Milan the COVID-19 cases are not as many as they are everywhere else. We are a very small unit and we’re taking all the necessary precautions. I’m excited to be shooting this wonderful film. Although I’m here, my heart is still in my country.”
Raashii Khanna is well on her way to impressing her footprints across film industries of different languages. Apart from Thank You, her upcoming projects include Tughlaq Durbar, Aranmanai 3, Methavi and Bhramam. Out of these, Aranmanai 3 is part of a super successful Tamil franchise that unveiled its first look recently. She also awaits the streaming of her digital debut directed by Raj & DK and starring Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi.
