Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Rose Audio Visual Production and directed by Rohan Sippy, Mithya, a 6-part web series, features a compelling cast, led by Huma Qureshi alongside, Bhagyashree’s daughter, Avantika Dassani, and supported by Parambrata Chatterjee, Rajit Kapur and Samir Soni in pivotal roles. Set in Darjeeling, the series navigates through the conflicted relationship between a Hindi literature professor, Juhi, played by Huma Qureshi, and her student, Rhea, played by Avantika Dassani. The plot revolves around a classroom conflict that soon spirals out of control, triggering an adverse psychological combat between the two women, leading to what’s being touted as fatal consequences and shocking revelations. Mithya has been aapted from the aclaimed 2019 British TV show, Cheat.
Disha Patani’s possible inclusion in Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein 2
Reports have been circulating since early today morning, 27th January, that Disha Patani who shot for the special, eponymous promotion song of Netflix’s Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, could be seen as a part of the cast in season 2 of the trending show, alongside lead cast members Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anchal Singh and Shweta Tripathi.

In order to not be left behind in the rat race, direct-to-home (DTH) service Tata Sky announced to the world yesterday, 26th January, that it has rebranded itself as Tata Play, adding Netflix to 13 other OTT services, including Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar, as a part of its new binge packs. And to drive home the point, the new streaming service has roped in in Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R. Madhavan and Priyamani for its campaign.
Madhuri Dixit’s Finding Anamika gets a new title
Madhuri Dixit is all set to make her digital debut with the web series, The Fame Game, which was earlier titled Finding Anamika. We got the first glimpse of the show last year when a teaser of the series was unveiled. The actress will be seen playing the role of a superstar, something more than befitting her stature.
