The Himachal Range is also called the Lower Himalayan Range or Lesser Himalaya. It is a major east-west mountain range with elevations of 3,700 to 4,500 m.
It is 12,000 to 14,500 feet, along the top of a mountain. It parallels a much higher Himalayas range from the Indus River in Pakistan. Across northern India, Nepal, and Bhutan.
The two ranges become increasingly difficult to vary east of Bhutan as the ranges approach the Brahmaputra River.
The Himachal range is also similar to the lower Shiwalik and is called Churia Range. The outer Himalaya to the south is called the Pir Panjal. It is the largest range of the Lesser Himalayas.

The Southern slopes of the Himachal Range are falling sharply. It is nearly uninhabited due to a major fault system is called the Main Boundary Thrust.
The crest and northern slopes run gently enough to support upland pastures and terraced fields. Nepal’s densely populated Middle Hills started along the crest.
It is extending to the north through lower valleys and other hills until the population. It becomes less dense out above 2,000 m.
Cereal-based agriculture increasingly gives way to seasonal moves in a group—the cold-tolerant crops like potatoes.
Most of the ethnic groups are found along the Himachal Range. The northward into the Middle Hills has Tibeto-Burman linking.
Including Nepalese origins like Newar, Magar, Gurung, Tamang, Rai, and Limbu.
It is a crowded ethnic group that is Indo-European Hindus. They are called Paharis—mainly the upper Brahman, Kshatriya, or Chhetri castes.
Lower terrain south of the hill was historically malarial. The Himalayas is occupied by gradually seeing the member of tribes with developed immunity. Notably, these are the Tharu and Maithili people.

The temperatures are persisting around forty degrees Celsius in the plains of India. Since from April till the onset of the summer monsoon in June.
