Jagame Thandiram update
Dhanush starrer Jagame Thandiram has already garnered a lot of attention and it is one of the most anticipated OTT releases of the month. The Tamil-language action-thriller was earlier scheduled for a single language release on Netflix. But now, the reports that Jagame Thandiram will also have a Hindi release. The Telugu and Malayalam dubbed versions are expected to release on 18th June 2021 alongside the Tamil and Hindi releases. Apart from Dhanush, this Karthik Subbaraj directed film also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi and James Cosmo, while Joju George and Kalaiyarasan.
Michele Morrone’s Bollywood/digital debut
After his stint in Polish erotic drama, 365 Days, Italian actor and model, Michele Morrone has been in demand for films and series across the globe. As per the latest report in the Times of India, Karan Johar and his team have approached the actor for Karan’s Dharmatic Entertainment venture. Well, if everything goes well, get ready to see some more hotness.
Cruella’s sequel
Emma Stone starrer Cruella’s sequel is said to be in works at Disney. The film which had a simultaneous release on 28th May has been winning hearts. And according to the latest reports, the director and Craig Gillespie and screenwriter Tony McNamara are working on a sequel already.
INFINITE on Netflix
Mark Wahlberg’s next, Infinite will directly release on Paramount plus now. Earlier scheduled for an August 2020 release, the makers delayed given the pandemic. However, you have to wait no longer as Infinite releases on 10th June 2021. The sci-fi action film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sophie Cookson, Jason Mantzoukas, Rupert Friend, Liz Carr, Toby Jones and Dylan O’Brien.
Director Vijay’s next to have an OTT release
Thalaivi helmer AL Vijay’s next, October 31st Ladies Night starring Nivetha Pethuraj, Manjima Mohan, Rebba Monica John, and Megha Akash and Visaka Sen is a bilingual film that will release on OTT. A source had informed a portal saying, “The film will revolve around the events that pan out at a Halloween party when a prank pulled off by the host goes wrong.”
Money Heist makers on the finale season
Money Heist fans are a little disheartened with the fact that the popular Spanish heist drama series would end with the fifth season. The makers reacted to the end of the series saying that they want ‘to leave with a bang and make a season that is very special in many ways.’
Manoj Bajpayee’s thank you note
Ever since the release of The Family Man 2 on Friday, Manoj Bajpayee has been showered with love from across the country. He penned a heartfelt note thanking everyone. He said, “Don’t know what and how many words will describe as to how much thankful I am feeling to Almighty and the audience for the massive response to @familymanamazon” with his video clip from the series.
