Pathan: Shah Rukh Khan to start shoot by end of November; Deepika
Shah Rukh Khan took a long time to sign a film after the debacle of Zero (2018). For a year, fans have been dying to know when he will start shooting for a new project. The wait was a painful one. Of course, rumours and speculations started flying around. When asked about his upcoming projects, Shah Rukh Khan gave witty comebacks, and further increased the speculation. Now, as per a report in mid-day, the actor is all set to get back on a movie set by end of November 2020. He will begin work for Siddharth Anand’s Pathan at Yash Raj Films Studios. The head honcho of Yash Raj Films, Aditya Chopra and Anand are packaging it as a masala entertainer.
A trade source told mid-day, “The first schedule will be a two-month affair that will focus solely on Shah Rukh’s portions, after which the unit will take a New Year’s break. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, who plays the antagonist, will join the second stint that is slated for January 2021. Like Siddharth’s previous outing War [2019], Pathan will be a slick and stylish revenge drama. Since the film marks Shah Rukh and John’s first on-screen union, Adi and Siddharth have etched out dramatic scenes featuring them. They have roped in action director Parvez Shaikh, who has worked on War, Brahmastra and Bell Bottom, to design high-octane fight sequences between the duo.”
We have seen Shah Rukh Khan in the IPL 2020 with long hair and a beard. The look is reminiscent of the one in Raees. It seems his look in Pathan is a lot similar. He further told the tabloid, “Shah Rukh will sport a stylish look with outfits curated by stylist Shaleena Nathani. Like Raees [2017] where he was seen wearing spectacles, this film will have him flaunting customised sunglasses.”
We have to see if he announces it officially on his birthday. So far, there is no news on that front.
